Why Study Sport & PE?

Sport & PE offers excellent variety and great cross curricular links with other subjects, for example biology, physics and psychology. If you want a challenging and interesting course and have a passion for sport, this is the subject for you. If you choose Sport & PE the career choices are broad and varied. The obvious ones are teaching and working within the leisure industry. However, this subject is highly recognised by universities and past students have gone on to study courses such as medicine, physiotherapy, biomedical science, criminology, English and drama and much more – you do not have to go on to a sports degree. At Langford we also have top class sports facilities and a dedicated team of staff to help deliver this course to the best possible standards.
