Philosophy And Ethics

Why Study Religious Studies: Philosophy and Ethics?

It provides a strong introduction to studying philosophy at university. In ethics we explore the major ethical theories and ask what it means to live a good life. In the final section, we build upon the issues section from the GCSE RS course and look at a range of contemporary problems facing religion in the modern world.

You do not have to be religious to take this course. It is not a requirement to have taken GCSE Religious Studies. What is needed is an enquiring mind and a thirst to find out about the world.
