iPayimpact and Fusion Online

From September 2023, Jersey College will have a new cashless catering online payment system in place. iPayimpact (iPay) will help reduce administration and provide greater flexibility. Initially, it will only apply to purchases from the school canteen; however, it will also be used in future for payment of trips and other school related events.

iPayimpact is CRB Cunningham's very own secure hosted online payment provision. Registration is easy and parents can top-up accounts using debit or credit cards. Parents can view remaining balances, transaction history and any notices placed on the system by the College. Parents are able to set up reminders to alert them when the account balances are running low or when a recurring payment is due. Multiple items can be added to the ‘shopping basket’ for all students linked to the same account, enabling parents to pay for a range of items, trips and top-up lunch cards/accounts.

The same system will be in use throughout the College, i.e., at JCP and JCG, providing continuity and a seamless transition from one school to the other. This new system supports our existing SmartCards and has the additional optional method of authenticating using facial recognition*, for which explicit consent is required from both parent and student.Links to the facial recognition consent form are provided by our school office.

* Please click here for more information regarding our use of Facial Recognition Technology.

SmartCards will also work with the new vending machine. Students are able to use their SmartCard to check out loan Equipment such as battery packs, at no charge.

All parents can credit their child’s SmartCard and view balances via their iPayimpact (‘iPay’) account. Eventually, all school trips etc. will also be paid for using the iPay account. Further information will follow when appropriate.

iPayimpact seamlessly integrates with the Fusion Online app. This app allows students to check their SmartCard balance.

What action is required?

Parents will need to set up an iPayimpact (iPay) account. Once an account has been established for one child, additional children from either JCG or JCP can be added to the same account.

Instructions for setting up iPayimpact accounts and linking multiple student accounts can be accessed by clicking here.

Existing students

  • Existing SmartCards will continue to be valid and must be brought into College on the student’s first day back on 6 September 2023*. Their card will then be converted for use with the new system.
(*Year 12 students will have their cards converted on 5 September 2023.)
  •  If your child has lost their SmartCard, a replacement card can be purchased from the Main Office for £3.50.
  • Current balances from the previous TouchTopUp system have already been migrated across to the new iPay system. If you believe there is any discrepancy, please email [email protected]

New students

  • Smartcards will be issued on 6 September 2023. They will be ready for immediate use provided that the iPayimpact account has been created and funds added.
